What is a …..
Board Member: Board members are elected for three-year terms and are interested in Brearley and its future. Members devote time to one or more committees or special initiatives, attend monthly in-person or virtual meetings, communicate alumnae feedback and act as ambassadors for the School. Nominations can be made here.
Committee Member: The Alumnae Association is comprised of committees that help organize and plan various events throughout the year. Please click here to see a list of Committees.
Class Agent: Class Agents partner with the School to raise vital funds for Brearley, serving as ambassadors among their classmates for Brearley’s Annual Fund. If you are interested in filling an open position, or joining the existing team, please contact Amina Holman, Annual Fund Director, at aholman@brearley.org
Notes Agent: Notes Agents are responsible for reaching out to their classmates to gather and compile news and photographs that are published biannually in the Bulletin. Notes Agents are also asked to help distribute select school communications and alumnae news.
If you are interested in filling an open position, or joining the existing team, please contact Maddy Tuten at mtuten@brearley.org.
Panel/Program Speaker: There are various opportunities for Alumnae to participate in Student and/or Alumnae-focused speaking engagements, virtually or in-person, including student assemblies, Alumnae Weekend and panels organized by the various Alumnae Association committees.
Reunion Organizer: Reunion organizers are needed to help plan their class “party” during Alumnae Weekend. This party is in addition to those activities and events hosted at or by the School. This effort is assisted by the Alumnae Relations team.
Regional Event Partner: The Alumnae Association aims to host several regional events per year. The events are usually hosted at the home of an alumna, but can also be held at a restaurant or other venue. Alumnae Relations partners with the alumna to plan and execute the event.
