If you are 70½ or older, you can make a gift to Brearley (up to $108,000 in 2025) through a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from your IRA. This allows your donation to be made directly to Brearley from your IRA custodian, so it does not count as taxable income. This is a simple and tax-efficient way to support Brearley.
This type of gift:
Reduces your taxable income.
Counts towards your required minimum distribution (RMD).
Provides immediate support for Brearley’s students, teachers, and programming.
