Who Let the Dogs IN?

On March 2 a few furry friends were admitted to Brearley, eager to provide a diversion for Upper School students amid exam week. On paw were Luna, a chocolate Lab; Melodie, a toy poodle; Lila, a white Lab; and Goldie, a Havanese.

The wellness visit, which included lots of belly rubs and nose kisses, was arranged through New York Therapy Animals. The organization serves people from all walks of life, including in healthcare facilities, schools, libraries and shelters, with the assistance of trained, licensed and insured therapy dog teams.

More dogs will be at Brearley the rest of this week to meet Upper Schoolers and will return on Tuesday to greet Classes VII and VIII.
