7:00-8:00 PM | The "Winter" Student Musical: A Year in Revue As one of our cast members wrote, "We don’t really know what’s going to happen, and we especially don’t know how long we will have to navigate this new normal that we live in. I’ve always gotten through those moments by making art." So make art we did! This year's winter musical was rehearsed and filmed virtually and includes a slate of songs that speak to the cast's experiences over the last year. 7:00-8:00 PM | Dream Closet, Green Closet - An Interactive Eco-Fashion Event, hosted by the Parents’ Association Join Ms. Kate McGuire, creator of Converted Closet, who will host an interactive zoom event filled with ideas of how to transform existing clothes in your wardrobe into bespoke pieces that reflect your individual style. Kate will also answer our questions on how to use what we have, how and where to shop vintage and how to reduce the huge amounts of clothing that goes into landfills. If you would like to get advice on transforming an outfit you already own, we ask that you submit a picture of yourself wearing it to Marina Mata Rohe P'28 by Thursday, April 15. Please include your name and class year. Because this is an interactive experience, if you submit a picture, please plan to attend the event. Please feel free to choose an everyday or evening outfit. Kate will select a few outfits and give advice during the event. |
