Alumna News: Marina Kellen French ’59 honored by New York Landmarks Conservancy

For her substantial contributions to New York City, Brearley alumna and grandparent Marina Kellen French was recognized as one of this year’s “Living Landmarks” by the New York Landmarks Conservancy at its annual gala, held on November 3 at the Plaza.

Through her roles as President of the Marina Kellen French Foundation and Vice President of the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation, which was established by her late parents, Marina supports a number of the city’s leading cultural, educational and medical institutions, including Brearley, the New York Philharmonic, The Frick Collection, Seventh Regiment Armory Conservancy and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Also pictured in the second photo is Wendy Lehman Lash ’60, whose husband served as Master of Ceremonies, and Marina’s granddaughter Stephanie Garrett, Class X.
