The deadline to submit an application is 5:00 pm on November 20, 2018. It is recommended that applications be submitted as soon as possible. A non-refundable application fee of $85 is due upon submission. This fee is waived for families applying for financial assistance.
Please allow up to seven business days for your application to be processed once it is submitted. You will receive an email from the Office of Admission regarding the scheduling of the parent tour and interview as well as your daughter's small group visit. The deadline for scheduling these visits is November 30, 2018.
Each child seeking admission to Brearley is tested using the ISEE Primary (Independent School Entrance Exam for Grade 3.) This assessment must be taken at the ERB office in Manhattan. Information about the format of the ISEE Primary and the types of questions asked is available on the ERB website. The deadline for taking this assessment is January 4, 2019. Please complete the following steps to schedule your daughter's appointment:
Submit the “Transcript Release” form to your daughter’s current school to request that her school transcript be sent to Brearley. In addition, please have your daughter’s homeroom teacher submit a completed teacher reference form.
