Man on Wire is a fascinating documentary about Philippe Petit and his incredible wire walk between the Twin Towers in 1974. The film has been widely praised and won both a Jury Prize and an Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival in January. Robert Kohler of Variety says, “A man on a high-wire across the Twin Towers — and how he does it — is the grab-you-by-the-lapels premise from which James Marsh’s Man on Wire erupts onscreen as one of the most wildly entertaining documentaries of recent years.”

The Tribeca Film Festival is in its seventh year of celebrating film, music and culture, and promoting New York City as a major filmmaking center. For more information about the festival, click here: Tribeca Film Festival.

We are grateful to Jane Rosenthal, Craig Hatkoff and the Tribeca Film Festival for generously inviting the Brearley School Benefit to return. Brearley’s 2005 Benefit at the Festival was enormously successful, and we look forward to enjoying this exciting downtown event once again.
