Arts
The Alumnae Arts Committee draws on the resources of the Brearley community in the New York area in the fields of fine art, architecture, music, dance, and theater. It organizes two or three entertaining and enlightening ticketed events each year. Recent events have included exhibits at the Robert Miller Gallery in Chelsea, the Berry Hill Galleries and the Whitney Museum, tours of the private collections in homes, a visit to the design studio of Zac Posen, a behind-the-scenes tour of Christie’s Auction House, and a showing of video art in the Brooklyn home of an architect alumna who converted it from a church. (The committee meets four or five times per year.)
