Alumnae Weekend

This committee plans all aspects of Alumnae Weekend at the School. The celebration begins on Thursday evening with an enrichment event, often an alumnae panel, followed by a cocktail party. In past years we have had an evening of “culinary luminaries” featuring celebrity chefs Sara Moulton ’70 and Barbara Poses Kafka ’51; a panel of alumnae environmentalists, one of alumnae scientists; and an exhibition and discussion by Brearley artisans. On Friday, all alumnae are invited to a luncheon in the Assembly Hall honoring five-year Reunion classes, and the weekend’s events conclude with a festive family brunch on Saturday morning in the cafeteria. (The committee meets four or five times per year.)
