About the Association
What does the Alumnae Association do?

Working in conjunction with the Alumnae and Development office, the Alumnae Association:
plans and organizes Reunion Weekend, including a Thursday evening event, the Annual Reunion Luncheon on Friday, and an informal family brunch on Saturday;
sponsors gatherings including Arts Committee events, LiBrA (Lives of Brearley Alumnae) panel discussions, community service opportunities and the Winter Brunch for younger alumnae;
provides networking opportunities, most recently for the Women in Finance group and the Miller Society for alumnae of African, Caribbean, and Latino descent;
publishes and distributes the Brearley Bulletin twice a year, including updated class news provided with the help of Class Notes Agents;
maintains the Alumnae HomePage, providing personal and professional directories, alumnae news, a calendar of events and Reunion information;
plans and organizes periodic regional gatherings in Boston, Washington, California, London and other areas;

selects the recipient of the Frances Riker Davis Award, which honors a distinguished alumna for service to her community each year, and the Lois Kahn Wallace Award, which is given to encourage new writers;
organizes Class Agents to encourage their classmates to support the Annual Fund and hosts annual phonathons; and
listens to alumnae and helps to execute the projects you suggest. Please call or write us with your ideas.
